SYNTHESIS brings together DJs, genres, and the community for a free party celebrating three years of Carbon Sound at Red Sea in Minneapolis on Friday, June 13.

Entry is free with RSVP. If capacity is reached in the venue, priority entry will be given to attendees with RSVPs.

Meet the DJs

Kema

Kema (Quema) is a DJ/Producer who blends sound system culture and underground ethos with his Latin roots, while pushing these sounds forward with bold experimentation. He has started carving out his space in the electronic scene with his releases on labels Agua De Rosas and NoFuture Berlin.

Kwey

Kwey is a DJ, producer, and promoter. His SAMAMBO events bring together the African diaspora in the Twin Cities through music. He has opened for A-Trak and most recently Joe Kay.

kaya

kaya is a DJ from Minneapolis. A rising master of his craft, kaya’s love for the rich history of house and techno allows him to craft sets that activate the brain and body.

echo

echo is a DJ and producer based in Minneapolis. His evocative sets aim to expand the audience's conception of music through sculptural mixing that blends disparate genres. echo is also the content director of Carbon Sound, a platform for DJs in the Twin Cities.
