The 6th annual Black, Bold, & Brilliant MLK Youth Talent Showcase will take place on Jan. 19 at the Capri Theater. The event is open to Black youth ages 7–17 from the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota and will feature up to 15 performance slots. Participants are invited to present talents that reflect Black culture, history, movements, or one or more of the seven principles of Kwanzaa. Cash prizes will be awarded, including a $250 grand prize and a $100 runner-up prize.
